Dan Merzlyak is the Senior Vice President, Global Head of Data, Analytics, and AI at EDB. Dan is passionate about leveraging data and AI to drive innovation and transform how businesses approach data management and analytics. At EDB, he leads a dynamic team focused on providing insights and enhancing customer outcomes through the strategic use of data, analytics, and AI, with a particular emphasis on utilizing EDB Postgres AI to help organizations optimize their data strategies.

Throughout his career, Dan has held senior roles at BlackRock, London Stock Exchange Group, and Cerberus Capital Management, and has also served as a consultant, advising on data strategy and analytics for Fortune 500 and private equity-backed companies. His leadership in data migration, transformation, and the application of AI has positioned him as a thought leader in the field. He holds an MBA and MS in Business Analytics from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, along with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Statistical Sciences from Cornell University.
