PostgreSQL is at the core of what we do at EDB, and several people here work on PostgreSQL full-time. However becoming a contributor and being successful in your contributions is not an easy task. That’s why PostgreSQL powerhouse Andrew Dunstan kicked off a program to help folks that have the ambition to become contributors take their first steps.

For the past three months, we've been running internal talk rehearsals at EDB to help speakers polish their presentations before community and industry events—and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Rehearsals provide a supportive space for catching typos, improving structure, and getting honest, constructive input from peers, whether you're a seasoned speaker or presenting a talk for the first time. If your company values clear communication and strong public presence, investing time in internal rehearsals is a simple, effective way to raise the bar—and we highly recommend it.
