Gulcin Yildirim Jelinek is a Staff Engineer at EDB. Her core areas of expertise are: PostgreSQL, Software Automation, Cloud, Kubernetes, Ansible, Technical Management, Community Building and Diversity. She has been working in IT for more than 13 years, held various roles from DBA to Software Automation Developer to Devops and Site Reliability Engineer. Before joining EDB, she worked as Cloud Services Manager to build Database as a Service platform with Distributed Database hierarchy. Currently, she's working on TPA, an open-source orchestration tool to deploy Postgres clusters, for the past 2 years in EDB. She has been contributing to the project since 2015. Recently, she's moved towards a Developer Advocacy role and sharing her experience to build a connection between internal teams and expose the unknown gems of EDB to a wider audience.
