Muhammad Affaan is a Data Solution Architect at EDB. Affaan has 20 years of diverse experience in distributed systems, databases and cutting edge technologies for large scale, complex data storage and processing systems. He has strong concepts in computing and architectural frameworks using expertise in Java, C++, Perl, PHP, Shell Scripting, Hadoop ecosystems, Kafka, Sqoop, Hive, Scikit Learn and Linux. Before joining EDB, he has been working on all levels of computing starting from building embedded systems, research in Grid computing backed with IEEE publication, design/development of SQL parser of GridSQL(A distributed RDBMS), telecom OSS Data engineer, Mobility/IoT applications and Big Data analytics. 

Affaan is currently working on EDB JDBC driver as part of Connector's team.
