Should Customer wish to request the addition of software items to this list, please raise a Severity Level 3 case. The inclusion of software on the list is at the sole discretion of EDB, and may take some time for EDB to confirm whether it is supportable.
Only major release levels are shown for simplicity, but all their corresponding minor releases are included as defined below.
PRIORITY SUPPORT
Priority support means that a request can be made for a case to be treated as a Severity Level 1 or Severity Level 2 issue. Priority support can be given for the following software when used in production environments only.
Priority support is only available for a minor release for up to three (3) months after a higher minor or maintenance release becomes available. For example, after PostgreSQL 10.2 is released, it will be eligible for priority support until three (3) months after the release of 10.3.
Note that prior to PostgreSQL 10, for the PostgreSQL server, libraries, and client programs the "major version" was the first two (2) version numbers and the "minor version" was the third. So 9.5 to 9.6 is a major version upgrade, whereas 9.6.5 to 9.6.6 is a minor version upgrade. From version PostgreSQL 10 onwards the first number is the major version and the minor version is the second. For example, PostgreSQL 10 to PostgreSQL 11 is a major upgrade, whereas 10.1 to 10.2 is a minor upgrade.
Where no month is listed in the table below, support will remain until 31st December of the listed year.
Priority Support is currently available for the following software:

When supporting PostgreSQL in a database as a service environment, such as Amazon RDS, certain cases may not be resolvable as a result of the closed nature of these systems. Examples include but are not limited to patch delivery, access to the system, configuration changes and installation of extensions.
In order to determine the date at which support ends, find the earliest date for the combination of the software in question and the operating system upon which Customer is running the software. For Platinum customers, after the end date for Platinum guarantees, Gold support will still be provided until the end of Gold support coverage. As an example, if you subscribe to Platinum support and you are running PostgreSQL 9.6 on Centos 6.5, Platinum guarantees are no longer offered, and Gold support ends at the end of November 2020. If you then upgrade to Centos 7, Platinum guarantees are offered until the end of December 2020 and Gold support ends at the end of June
